The VW Upper Front Shock Absorber Bolt has a 12mm shaft and thread. The VW shock bolt fits 1963 through 1965 Beetles, 1963 through 1965 Karmann Ghias, 1963 through 1967 Type 2 Bus models and 1963 through 1965 Type 3s. The front upper shock bolts are sold individually.

Verify your current upper front shock bolt as it is very possible the front beam has been replaced. 1962 and earlier beams have a 12mm shouldered bolt with 10mm threads. 1963 and later beams have a 12mm bolt.
