The VW Dome Light Lens Assembly snaps into the roof opening and holds the dome light bulb. The dome light lens has a 3 position switch (on / off / door) and fits 1954 through 1977 Standard Beetle Sedans, Ragtops and Sunroofs, 1971 through 1976 Super Beetle Sedans & Sunroofs as well as 1962 through 1973 Type 3 models. The dome light lens will accept 6 or 12 volt bulbs which can be added above if needed.

The dome light assembly is self grounding. For later model cars, the constant ground wire (in the dome light harness) is no longer used. Make sure that the assembly has a clean, paint free surface on the body to clip against.Shipping
