This VW Hood Release Cable fits the 1969-1979 VW Beetle and Super Beetle and the 1969-1974 VW Karmann Ghia. The hood release cable is used to release the
hood when your hood pull is in the glovebox. The cable does not come with the roll pin that is used to hold the cable to the hood release lever. You original
roll pin must be re-used or a replacement pin must be sourced. Early VW window crank dowel pins can be used if they are ground or filed down to fit.
