EMPI's C.V. joint boots for late model Type 2s and 4s are made of durable black neoprene and come with an integrated mounting flange.
These boots fit 1968 to 1979 Type 2 Bus, 1980 to 1991 Vanagon, 1973 to 1974 Thing, and all Type 4s.
The boots will also fit Vanagon Syncro models.
These boots can be used in the rear inner, rear outer, and front inner positions.
For front outer boot for Syncro, see part #86-2268-D.
The metal flange has an inside diameter 54.19mm or roughly 2 1/8".
The boots are sold as a pack of four.
Customers who only require one boot can purchase individual units under P/N 86-1086-V or as part of a deluxe C.V. boot kit,
which is listed under P/N 86-1084-D.
