Wiring Works 1972-73 VW Beetle Complete Wiring Harness

This Wiring Works complete wiring harness fits 1972-1973 VW Standard Beetle Sedans & Sunfoofs. The Wiring Works complete wiring loom will wire your entire car from headlights to tail lights. These complete wiring kits are great for repairing old dried out wiring, or replacing the original wires after a new paint job. The wiring harness is made from original wiring loom schematics, are factory color coded and are made with OEM AMP terminal ends. The wires are factory length and pre-terminated. The complete harness includes detailed instructions which will simplify the task of rewiring your 1972 or 1973 VW Standard Beetle. The harness does not include switches, any wiring that is part of a switch, a fusebox, battery cables, ground straps or relays.

This complete wiring harness is designed for use with a 12 circuit fuse box and a column mounted wiper switch. If your 1971 Standard Beetle has a dash mounted wiper switch and a 10 circuit fuse box, use the JBP or WK-113-70-71 wiring harness.

The WK-113-72-73 wiring harness is set up to be used with a generator. It can easily be modified to work with an internally regulated alternator. If you have a factory installed, externally regulated alternator, the original wiring harness and plugs must be reused.

Wiring Harnesses can only be returned if the packaging remains sealed. Once a wiring harness has been opened, it cannot be returned.

Please Note: The subharnesses and connectors that plug into to the ignition switch, turn signal switch and wiper switch are not included with the harness. Those wires and connectors must be saved and reused. The battery ground cable, the battery positive cable and the transmission ground strap are not included.
