This non-locking VW Gas Cap is 70 millimeters. It is for use with Original Gas Tanks only. It will not fit an aftermarket tank spout.
Cap fits tanks on 1961 to 1967 Beetle, 1961 to 1967 Karmann Ghia, Bus 1955 to 1971, Type 3s from 1961 to 1967, and Things from 1973 to 1974.
It fits fuel tanks and filler necks that have three notches on the outside lip.
If your fuel tank or filler neck has two notches on the inner lip, use the gas cap linked here.
