The VW Sway Bar Link Bushing installs at the end of the 19mm sway bar and connects the end link to the sway bar. VW used different diameter sway bars in a given model year, and it depended on how the vehicle was outfitted. If your sway bar measures 19mm (3/4") in diameter, this is the bushing you want. The 19mm inside diameter bushing was used on 1986.5 through 1991 Vanagons. Other models typically use a larger 21mm sway bar. If you have a 21mm sway bar, you want the #251411045 bushing.
