Shipping Policy

We offer FREE SHIPPING on orders over $100*
Orders under $100 cost a flat-rate, $9.95*
*Continental United States only.

Express Shipping

If you need express shipping, please call us for expedited shipping options. We will try to consolidate as much as possible to offer the lowest shipping rates.

Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, APO/FPO, & US Territories
For orders to Hawaii, Alaska, APO/FPO, Puerto Rico and other US territories, we will provide you with your shipping options and the costs via phone. The shipping costs for these orders are billed at the time of shipping.

International Shipping

We do not ship internationally. We only ship to the USA and it's territories

Return Policy

90 Day Return Policy

You can return most unused, never installed, like-new items for 90 days from the date of receipt. Items must be in like-new condition. The following items are final sale:
  • Special order items
  • Special order upholstery
  • Electrical items
  • Installed carburetors
Like-new Condition: JBugs may refuse a return when the returned item is not in like-new condition. These situations will lead to refused returns:
  • Installed items
  • Items missing parts or the original packaging material
  • Items damaged in return shipping due to improper packaging
  • Carburetors that smell like fuel
  • Damage due to customer negligence
  • Items with scour marks that show installation or attempted installation from nuts, bolts, screw-driver’s, washers, etc.

Returns must be sent in a proper shipping box.
With the exception of parts that are shipped to you in the original manufacturer packaging (example - TMI door panels, floor pans, complete front beams, etc), please be sure to return the parts with an external box or protective packaging around the parts you are returning. Most manufacturer packaging boxes are not rated for shipping and can become damaged or destroyed as they are too thin to withstand forces applied during the shipping process. Failure to do so will result in a higher restocking/reboxing fee or outright refusal of the return if the part cannot be restocked in the same condition it arrived at you.

How to Start a Return:
  • Call JBugs at 800-231-1784
  • Request an Return Authorization. Do not ship your return back to us until you have an RMA.
  • Place a copy of your invoice or order confirmation inside the package.
  • Carefully package your items
  • Ship the items back to the JBugs return address listed on the RMA. Keep your tracking information for proof of delivery.
  • Once you receive a Return Authorization, all returns must be shipped back to our AZ address.
  • Returns shipped to our administration office may be subject to a higher restocking fee.
  • Returns, refunds, and store credits are usually processed within 5 days upon receiving the items back.
  • We are not responsible for tracking returns shipped without an RMA.
Refunds, Exchanges, and Store Credit:
  • Refunds, exchanges, or store credits will be given for items returned within 90 days of receipt.
  • Refunds are issued to your original payment method.
Return Shipping:
  • The customer is responsible for the return shipping charges except in cases where JBugs shipped the incorrect item.
Freight Charges:
  • Shipping charges are not refundable.
3rd Party Charges:
  • JBugs is not responsible for any 3rd party installation charges.
Re-Stocking Fee:
  • Returns will be subject to a 20% restocking fee except in a situation where JBugs shipped the incorrect item.
Received a Defective Item?
  • If you feel that you have received a defective item, please contact our technical support team at 800-231-1784 ext. 3. If the item is deemed defective by our staff, we will replace or refund the product and any shipping charges.
If a product does not fit because your vehicle has been modified or customized in the last 40+ years, it does not definitively mean the item is defective. If you have an issue due to fitment, we will help you find the right parts. We are here to help.

International Order Policy

JBugs does not sell parts internationally. We cannot, under any circumstances, accept an international credit card. If you are an international customer you can utilize the following procedure, at your own risk, to order parts:

1. Place an order at JBugs.com

2. Ship the order to an American based freight forwarder of your choice

3. Pay for the order using Paypal

If you choose to order parts this way, we will process your order just like any other order within the United States - Please Note: this means that any back order or special order items will be shipped separate from the rest of your order- please make shipping accommodations accordingly.

Once the order is shipped to the freight forwarder, we will no longer accept any responsibility for the order. We do not have any affiliation with freight forwarders, nor can we recommend one to you. We cannot offer any insurance on the package or make any guarantee that the order will make it beyond the freight forwarder.

Returns on international orders are entirely the responsibility of the customer. We will not pay the freight on a return under any circumstances. Order at your own risk.

We CANNOT calculate nor can we estimate the transit time or cost from the freight forwarder to the customer. Once the courier's tracking number shows delivery to the freight forwarder, the safety of the package becomes the responsibility of the freight forwarder. International shipping costs, customs, import duties, taxes, etc., will all be handled by the customer or by the freight forwarder. We are also not responsible for calculating the dimensions and weight of the products being ordered.

Again, we cannot accept international credit cards. International customers must use PayPal to place an order through JBugs.com, using the PayPal tab to check out. During the time of order, make NO mention of the international address; the website will reject the order if an international address is included.

It is MANDATORY, that all shipments will include 1 copy of the invoice regardless of the number of packages, and MUST be addressed to the customer that has paid for the product. There will not be multiple copies made, nor will the recipient's name be changed. This cannot be manipulated, omitted, or altered.

PLEASE BE ADVISED! Vehicles produced outside of the United States do not follow the same year/make/model rules as the U.S. production models. It is the CUSTOMER'S RESPONSIBILITY to know what parts fit the vehicle, regardless of its place of origin. JBugs accepts NO RESPONSIBILITY for parts that do not fit, or match your year or model vehicle. NO EXCEPTIONS.

We apologize for any inconveniences caused by this policy, but cannot make any exceptions. We appreciate your business.

Price Match Policy

We will match a competitor's listed, delivered price.

To do so, we verify some information. If you see an item listed at a lower price:

  • We must verify that the website you want to price match is a legitimate business and an authorized dealer of the item(s).
  • The item must be in new condition.
  • We must confirm that the competitor has the exact same item with the same attributes, in stock and ready to ship. If the item is out of stock on the competitor's website, we are unable to match their price.
  • The item must be an apples-to-apples comparison and be of the same quality as the item you are trying to price match. We will price match "German Quality vs. German Quality" or "Brazilian Quality vs. Brazilian Quality". We will not price match German Quality vs. Brazilian Quality. Just because it has the same OEM part number, does not necessarily always mean it is the same item with the same quality, when it comes to air-cooled VW restoration parts.
  • Price matching is at our sole discretion and we reserve the right to decline to match a price.

30-day price-drop protection

If our price drops within 30 days of your purchase, contact us by phone, email, or chat while the lower price is available. Within those 30 days, we'll make up the difference.
