Type 1 (Beetle/Super Beetle/Ghia) Master Cylinders
Type 2 (Bus/Transporter) Master Cylinders
Type 3 Master Cylinders
Dual Circuit Master cylinders utilized 2 brake light switches in order to differentiated the pressure readings from each circuit. If the pressure readings were off, the Brake Warning Light would turn on in the dashboard to let the driver know service was required.
