Save the date: Memorial Day Weekend 2025 is going to be one you don’t want to miss! It’s the 10th Annual running of the Foul Air 500. One of the largest Volkswagen Road Rallies/ Rolling Car Show in the Midwest. If you have an old Vintage Volkswagen Bug, Bus, Thing, Type 3, Buggy, a New Beetle or a Buzz ID and anything in between, this is an all Vw event (anything goes). It doesn’t matter if you have the nicest Vw of all time or if you just dug it out of a field, if you want to drive it, join us! We will meet up Saturday morning at our starting point (Loves Gas Station across from Cherokee Casino) in West Siolam Springs Oklahoma. Take a beautiful scenic drive (a couple hundred miles) on winding 2 lane blacktops. Arriving at our destination Saturday Evening Harris Brake Lake Resort near Petit Jean State Park. Sunday is a free day to explore the area, go for a hike, swim, go fishing or work on your Vw if needed. There is a planned cruise Sunday through Petit Jean State Park with a few short strolls to see overlooks. Monday (Memorial Day) we will Cruise back and break off towards home. So get out into the shop and get your Vw ready for the kickoff of Show Season. Plan on the FA500 being your shakedown run! Invite all your Vw friends and family!

It is a swap meet, for 1967 and earlier Volkswagen buses only, held at Long Beach Veteran's Memorial Stadium, Long Beach, CA. All parking will be on a "First come - First served basis". There will be raffle prizes at the main booth. Refreshment services will be on hand by various food trucks. Drive your transporter and find those parts you’ve been looking for!!!

There is no pre-registration needed, just pay your spectator admission and you will be directed to the Car Show Parking area. There will be a booth setup where you can register and receive your window card and voting ballot. The ballots are due back by 11am and the awards will be at noon. Cars will be parked on the grass as they arrive. If you want to park with your club, please make sure you all arrive together. There will be no saving spots. We will also have some special displays set-up. If you are interested in participating in a special display, please drop us an email. :: SPECIAL CAL-LOOK DISPLAY :: For our first event in 2025, we will be celebrating 50 years of Cal-Look. It all started with that February 1975 issue of Hot VWs that sparked the Cal-Look trend that is still alive and well today. At the VW Revival we will have a special class of cars handpicked to be judged by Doctor Detail himself, Frenchy Dehoux. A one-off Trophy will be awarded to the Best Cal Looker of the event. These cars will be parked in a separate area from the regular Car Show :: SWAP MEET INFO :: A swap space at the Revival is for private parties selling "used" parts only. Each space is $40 per vehicle and includes driver admission. No Trailers allowed in Swap Area. Rancho Jurupa Campground 4800 Crestmore Rd, Riverside, CA CAMPING RULES: Please Read!!! Quiet in the campground is required between 10:30pm and 7:00am. This means if you’re playing music or being loud enough to bother other campers, quit it!! One RV/Trailer is permitted per site. You are expected to respect other campers, their sites, belongings, and their privacy. This includes, but is not limited to, walking through others sites, unwanted company, noise at any time that is considered too loud!. This means if your music is so loud that the people in the next camp can’t have a conversation you need to Turn it down or leave!!! If you have to be asked more than once you & your group will be asked to leave. Shade covers and awnings are allowed in all sites as long as they are on the grass, dirt or pavement. Fires are only allowed in fire rings or containers elevated at least 16" above the ground, NO FIRES ON THE GRASS!! Pets must be kept on a leash no longer than 10' at all times, per County Ordinance. Pets cannot be tethered to a concrete table, sewer vent pipe, to trees or staked to the grass. Pet owners must pick up after their pets. Campers may be asked to leave if their dog(s) disturb other campers after 10:00pm. All pets over the age of four (4) months must have current vaccination with a rabies vaccine approved by the CA State Dept. of Public Health and be officially tagged(licensed) per County Ord# 1764 Sec.32.027. Records must be shown upon request. If your dog isn’t other animal friendly or people friendly leave it at home. Changing oil and working on vehicles is not allowed in the campsites, or any ware in the park. Fireworks and firearms are prohibited on all Riverside County Parks. Operating off-road vehicles in the park is prohibited. Stock unmodified golf carts-scooters and e-bikes are ok, and must be reregistered with license plate, that goes for all vehicles. Please keep the park clean for all to enjoy. The campsite must be kept in a presentable manner free of litter and debris. Necessary camping items that are kept outside should be kept together in an orderly manner. You may be asked to leave if your site is not kept in an orderly manner. Campers must obey all speed and traffic limits. Speed limit in park is 15mph. and 5mph in campground, as posted. No Cruising will be allowed! Remember children play here, bring a Bike. Please observe directional arrows! When entering park all guests must stop at gate and identify themselves and give the site number if applicable. All campers and guests must use proper procedures for entering park and exiting the park. Park Gates will be closed at 7pm and open at 700am, after hour arrivals can be made in advance with VTO. Violation of any park rule, county ordinance, local, state or federal law can result in prosecution and/or eviction. These rules were made to benefit everyone. Thank you for reading and abiding by them. Park staff is available to serve you in any way we can. We hope you enjoy your stay and we thank you for your patronage. Failure to follow rules will result in you/your group being asked to leave the park General camping will be restricted to VW’s only. This is due to the increasing size of the VW show and no other vehicles will be allowed in. Exceptions will be made on a need vs want basis, sorry for the inconvenience, but this is a VW event. All vehicles must be parked at least 2’ from any road. Also there will be no day use, be prepared to pay the full amount upon arrival. If you can’t follow any of these rules, please don’t come!!!! If you do not camp Saturday night at the park you will be charged additionally for reentry Sunday morning!! Cottonwood Camp Area: In this area you cannot park or set a tent up on the grass, EZ-UPs are ok, we ask that you have a VW on your site along with you RV, tow vehicles can park in the spectator area to allow more room for VW's. Lakeview Camp Area: Tent camping is permitted, as well as AIR COOLED ONLY VW's on the grass, again this is a VW event so we encourage all other vehicles to park in the spectator area. Cabins: Cabins sleep 4 people, and are allowed 2 parking spaces in front of cabin, ALL vehicles in front of cabin should be VW’s as this is a VW event. All other vehicles can park in the spectator parking area. no tents or vehicles are allowed in the grass in front of cabins.

Calling All Campers!!! Join us for our 6th Annual VW Campout at Lowden State Park in Oregon, IL. There are RV sites with electric hookups and 8 grassy tent sites with no electric. The campground has showers, flush toilets and is close to Oregon, IL, Byron, IL and a couple of other scenic state parks. This has been a very popular event in the past and we recommend reserving your site as soon as possible. ALL VW's are welcome!! If you're not a camper, feel free to cruise out on Saturday afternoon and just hang out. The Shady Rest campsites, #8-54, and the Sun Valley campsites, #55-78 are electric with a gravel pad and a fire ring. Sites B-31 to B-38 are the grassy tent sites with no electric. The 32nd Annual Terryville Bug-A-Fair will be held on Father's Day June 15th, 2025 at the Terryville Lions Fairgrounds 171 Town Hill Rd. Terryville CT 06786 from 9am to 3:30pm. Last year was our biggest turnout yet with 50+ campers Saturday night, 400 show cars, 80+ swap meet vendors, and over 1800 spectators on Sunday. Our best attendance ever! Show car registration begins at 9am, judging starts sharply at 12 noon and awards ceremony will begin by 3:30pm. The show also has a huge swap meet with vendors selling new and used parts, toys, and t-shirts and automobilia. If you're looking for that special hard to find part or need to unload some of your extra VW stuff this is the place to be at! There are 40 show classes with 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place awards for both Air-Cooled and Water-Cooled VW's plus 21 Special Awards and Best of Show Trophies for Air-Cooled Stock, Air-Cooled Custom, and Water-Cooled. Cars are judged using a point system based on condition of Exterior, Interior, Chassis/Pan, Engine, Trunk Area, and Display (optional). Please have your hoods and deck lids open for judges to get a good look at your VW. Convertibles, please have your tops up in closed position. Join the Fresh Air & Three Rivers Volkswagen Clubs for the 43rd Annual Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix. Held in beautiful Schenley Park in the Oakland section of Pittsburgh, the PVGP is so much more than a car show. It's a motorsport festival. Each years thousands of vehicles from all over the country converge on Pittsburgh. See cars from every corner of the globe and every era. Car shows are divided up in to countries and then individual marques. Last year, over 100 VWs were on display. While the car shows are happening on the golf course, watch vintage race cars take to the (closed) streets for wheel to wheel action the way it used to be. Open to all years and all conditions. Registration is $50 for the weekend until July 1st. After that it will be $60 for the weekend. Registration includes golf course/show parking for drive and all passengers, program & decal. For 2024, we will be celebrating the 70th anniversary of the Karmann Ghia. There are also individual shows for Porsche and Audi vehicles as well. Since 1983, the PVGP has had one key goal, to put on a world class automotive event to raise funds for those with Autism and other mental disabilities. Since 1983, over $7 million dollars has been raised to benefit Autism Pittsburgh and the Merakey Allegheny Valley School. What started as a one day event has now blossomed into a 10 day festival filled with car shows, driving tours, parties, and two exciting race weekends. In 2024, the PVGP was a finalist in the International Historic Motoring Awards for Motorsport Event of The Year. This is an event not to miss.

Join us for the premier Midwest VW Type 2 camping event! Come join us for the upcoming 39th "Buses Nowhere Near the Arch" camping weekend. This family-oriented VW camping event will feature on average a gathering of around 100 VW Transporters of all types and eras from all over the USA. While predominantly a Type 2 event, all models and eras of VWs are welcome to camp with us! We are looking forward to seeing you and your Transporter amidst all the "Split-windshields", "Bubble-windshields", Vanagons, and EuroVans and even the new "I.D. Buzz" as well as any other VW types and models this Fall. Please note that only VWs are allowed inside the BNNTA event campground. "Buses Nowhere Near The Arch #39" will be held rain or shine over the long Labor Day holiday weekend, Friday, Aug 29th thru Sep 1st, 2025. We will gather again at the "group campground" inside the Indian Creek Recreation Area. This U.S. Army Corps of Engineers campground is located right alongside 18,000 acre Mark Twain Lake, about 30 miles southwest of historic Hannibal, Missouri. This is a beautiful, federally-run campground with paved roads and parking pads and nice facilities. Most supplies and conveniences are available in nearby Monroe City or Hannibal. On both Friday and Saturday evening we plan to have campfires along with VW and door prizes, and parts swapping in addition to the "site-to-site" socializing that this VW camping event is famous for. On Saturday morning we are planning another of our famous "Bus caravans" over to historic Hannibal, the boyhood home of Samuel Clemens, a.k.a. "Mark Twain." You'll have lots of time to explore the haunts of his hometown, or tour "Injun Joe's cave." You won't want to miss it! On Saturday afternoon registered campers can stroll the campground and select by ballot their favorite VW Transporters, and that evening owners choice awards will be presented in several Type 2 classes in addition to a drawing for any vendor and participant-donated door prizes. If you have any neat VW-related items to donate, please bring them along for the drawing. On Sunday you are free to enjoy the lake or visit other regional highlights. It should prove to be a relaxed, fun weekend full of great Volkswagen experiences and new friendships. We are planning again to have a "vintage lantern walking tour" on Saturday evening right after awards are presented, so break out your old and new lanterns, dust 'em off and get them working and bring them along for the lantern-lit walking tour of the campground! We may even have a best and worst working lantern award or two, who knows! Our private camping facilities at Indian Creek include our own large, private "Buses Nowhere Near the Arch" group area with some electric hook-ups (first come, first served), fishing, water-sports (bring your water toys), playground, a huge pavilion shelter, toilet and shower facilities, and a nearby boat ramp. The all inclusive camping/event fee is $35 per VW for the entire weekend. Only VW’s that are registered and camping will be admitted into the BNNTA group campground area! Now, please read that last sentence again! Sites in the BNNTA group campground area can not be reserved in advance. The gates to our campground will be open for arrivals and site selection on Friday. If you arrive earlier, you could stay nearby in the regular "main campground" in the Indian Creek Recreational Area. Although there should be plenty of room for everyone, the earlier you arrive the better. We are looking forward to your arrival for a long holiday weekend full of Volkswagen fun. 10th International Southern California Vintage VW Treffen presented by WOLFSBURG WEST

The So Cal Vintage Treffen is limited to 1961 and earlier "Small Taillight" Beetles and Buses, 1959 and earlier Karmann Ghias, early Military Vehicles and Coachbuilts, as well as Porsche 356 “A” and "pre-A" cars. Our first event held in September 2007 turned out to be a big success, and the plan is to hold it every other year opposite the Solvang Vintage Meet put on by the Golden Gate Chapter of the VVWCA.

:::CAR SHOW INFO:::
The So-Cal Vintage Treffen is limited to the first 200 cars registered. This event in particular is specifically for 1961 and earlier "Small Taillight" Beetles and Buses, 1959 and earlier "low light" Karmann Ghias, WWII Military, early VW Coachbuilts and Porsche 356 A and pre-A vehicles. Because of our limited room, we have to limit the vehicle count to 200. If there are spots available after pre-registration closes, we will take entries the day of the event until our maximum capacity is reached.

$75 Deluxe Entry: This pass includes one (1) person and one (1) vehicle. Any passengers in the vehicle will need to purchase an additional Spectator entry for $15. For your Deluxe Entry you will be included in the "Participant Judged" portion of the event and receive the "Wolfsburg West Goodie Bag" including the limited edition, numbered car badge and dash plaque. If you have entered in a previous Treffen event and would like the same number as before, that can be arranged. Deluxe entries will also have the option to load in early on Saturday evening after 6pm and pre-stage their vehicles. There will be 24hr Security overnight at the Lakeview Park.

:::SWAP/VENDOR INFO:::
Swap Spaces are for Private Parties selling "used" parts only. Swap spaces are parked on a first come first serve basis. A swap spot at the Treffen is $45 per vehicle and includes driver admission. Trailer = 2nd vehicle.

Vendor Spaces are for Companies selling "new or used" merchandise. Each space is $150, aprox 20’x20’ and will include a pass good for one (1) vehicle and two (2) spectators. Vendors are set-up inside the show area separate from the Swap Meet area. Any additional tickets can be purchased at the front gate for $15 each.

Sunday September 28th, 2025 is the Connecticut Volkswagen Association's 21st annual "Volks-Meet" at the Southington Drive-In. 995 Meriden-Waterbury Turnpike Plantsville, CT 06479 from 9am to 2pm rain or shine. This show is open to all Volkswagens and German cars old and new. Dash plaques will be handed out to the first 100 show cars. Sixteen show classes plus specialty awards will be awarded at 2pm. DJ all day and food will be available for purchase at the PIG RIG BBQ food truck. This year the Connecticut Volkswagen Association is celebrating its 40th year so as an appreciation for all your support Volks-Meet is FREE this year to all Show Cars, Swap Meet Vendors, and Spectators.
