Our Interior Restoration DVD shows you how to disassemble and install every part of your classic Volkswagen, including the headliner. It is a $20 savings when you buy the kit, but it will also save you significant time, stress, and frustration. It provides you with the information you need so that you can restore your interior yourself, without having to pay a professional.

How to Order Your Complete VW Interior Kit

Step 1, Choose Your Seat Upholstery

Kit includes front & rear upholstery with Basketweave Vinyl seating/backrest surfaces and matching Smooth Vinyl sides and back. Buy with confidence knowing all seats are covered by a lifetime warranty against manufacturer defects.

Need Seat padding?
Do not forget our replacement padding kit and burlap (click here to purchase separately) to achieve professional results. Our High-Density Rubber Foam Seat Pad Kits are the ultimate in comfort and durability. Just be sure to lay down some burlap or barrier fabric to keep metal seat springs from cutting into the foam.

Our JBugs Door Panel sets includes both front door panels and matching rear quarter panels. Our panels have thick masonite wood backing, and are pre-drilled for window crank, door release mechanism and door panel clips. Extremely rigid, durable and unaffected by moisture, Masonite lasts much longer than cardboard, which can easily bend when dampened by rain or snow. The material is lightly padded and feature heat impressions. Our Door Panels look great and will easily outlast cheap boards others sell with cardboard backing. Our door panels are backed by the same Limited Lifetime Warranty, and ensures your door panels will fit better, look newer longer and hold their quality for years.

Need Clips and Seals?

You may need to replace your existing door panel clips and seals when installing new door panels. Clips and Seals are NOT included with kit, you may reuse both as long as they are in good condition.

Headliner Kit
Easy Install or Original
Easy Install Headliners are in stock.
Original Style Headliners are made to order.

All JBugs Headliners include complete factory coverage, including matching sewn windlace pieces that cover the door posts. Our headliners feature anti-microbial treated thread which resist rot and mildew. -The stitching will keep your headliner remain tight and stay up. Remember you will need to replace your window seals when installing a new headliner.

Note: Choose from Easy Install or Original Install. Both Styles offer the same coverage.Easy Install simplifies the installation process around the rear window. Original Style keeps multiple pieces that frame rear window.

Charcoal Loop Standard Carpets are in stock.
All other colors and Premium Carpet Kits are made to order and include an upgrade charge.

Our JBugs Carpets cover the complete interior compartment (up to back seat) and behind the rear seat. They are made of high quality automotive grade carpet and feature a rubber backing. All carpet kits are yarn bound (we find this more durable than cloth binding) and are designed to withstand years of use and continue looking great. Black or Charcoal Loop carpets are included with our JBUGS Interior Kits and are in stock. All other color and cutpile carpets are considered special orders, and are custom made if selected with your kit.

The Quality Standard carpet kit includes a Vinyl footpad.
The Super Premium Carpet kit includes a footpad, vinyl edged inserts for the gear shift, emergency brake boot, and heater control knob. This carpet gives you the most precise fit.

Note: Choose from with or without footrest.

It is important to note if your car has a footrest underneath the front passenger carpet. The footrest is a removable metal slope that originally hinged at the very front towards the firewall. After 30-50 years cars that originally came with a footrest may have had it removed to provide extra leg-space for the passenger.

Our 2 hour and 15 minute interior video gives you detailed instruction on how to remove all of your interior components and install your headliner, restore and install seat upholstery, door panels, carpet, and interior accessories -all with professional results.


Headliner Glue

quart can of glue Quart can of upholstery glue for installing headliner. Glue is included with your kit so your headliner is ready to install when you receive it. You may consider purchasing new headliner bows and bow caps if your existing hardware is not in the best condition.


Hogring Kit

hogring kit Industrial staples used for various upholstery tasks during installation. Kit includes enough staples for one complete interior. Hogrings are used to attach burlap (P/N:113-649 Sold Separately) to the seat frame. This process keeps springs feeling more even and helps prevents springs from tearing into your seat foam.
