This is Web Cams mildest ratio rocker cam and it has a powerband similar to the W-110 or the Web Cam 163. Since it is designed for use with ratio rockers it is smoother than those cams and when tuned properly with dual two barrel carburetors it can idle at 600 rpm. With more headwork and carburetion, the more performance you'll see. Either way, the mellow grinds on the ratio rocker designed cam allows for longer engine life and a super smooth valve train. Whether using it with 1.4 or 1.5 ratio rockers it provides good useable power in a wide range of engines.
EMPI's GTV-86A cam pulls well from 1500 up to about 6000 RPM. Dual springs and HD rocker shafts are necessities, along with 1.4 or 1.5 ratio rockers. Dual, two barrel carburetors are ideal and will allow for an idle that is close to stock. This is a great all around cam with a very streetable powerband.

Installation Notes:
All Type 1 performance cams are 3 Bolt, "early style" or "flat cams" and fit Type 1,2 & 3, 1200cc(40hp) to 1600cc based engines. The cam requires a separately sold, bolt on cam gear and must be used with a "flat cam" style oil pump.
