My wife of 53 years drives this 1979 Volkswagen Cabriolet. The car has 47,423 original miles on the car. Since we live on a island the car only gets driven a few miles a week.

The history of the car is we are the 3rd owners. Originally bought in Athens Georgia and restored about 6 years ago. The car was sold to another person and they put less the 400 miles on the car in 4 years.

We purchased the car and have done a few things to make it look like we want. I wet sanded the car with 2000 grit and buffed the car to a beautiful luster. Ordered a few items from your store including the Empi wheels and a new Gas tank I still have the original wheels that came on the car. Every thing else about the car is original.
