This is my 1964 Bug aka Ruby. This Bug spent its entire life with its original owner living outside of San Francisco until I purchased it in 2018 (now living in west Michigan).
It's been repainted once and the interior has been recovered, otherwise it's original. It runs like a sewing machine and I use it to explore off the beaten path (dirt roads, two tracks and farm roads).
