I bought this car on April 13th of 2025. It had been restored by a guy that I went to grade school with. He wanted to sell the car because his wife was retiring, and they were going to start camping around the country and did not need the car any more to work on. I was at a car show in Medina, Ohio and noticed that there were some really nice cars parked around this car but most everyone walking by had to stop and ask about what kind of car this was. Most people had never seen one before or not for a long time. I really like the car, so I bought it that day.

Now since I have had the car, I have continued to restore the car through JBugs. I have been to a few shows with the car and people still continue to ask me what kind of car it is. I have been doing research on the car and there really weren't that many sold in America, due to everyone wanting to by Bugs at this time. But it sold well around the world.
