VW Door Lock Pull Knobs aren't threaded, until you thread them on. So, when you install the knob and it just slides over the threaded post don't fret! This is the way the originals installed! Just press the new pull down firmly and twist the knob, clockwise, until it stops.
People seem to have trouble installing VW door lock poles occasionally as they seem too large and just drop onto the post. Apparently too large to fit using a small Allen key we can see the door lock poles hollow all the way to the top just like original. Here we'll demonstrate with this original VW door lock Pole and this different style original VW door lock pull once the knob is in place over the threaded post it needs to be threaded on. This is no different than our aftermarket replacement door lock poles other than the threads haven't been cut into the plastic yet. So set it in place push it down firmly and thread it on and it goes up and down just like it should
