Most of our sunvisors have a mounting post (at the outside edge of the car) that must be adjusted so that the visor post lines up with the clip at the rear view mirror (at the center of the car). Since the mounts are pressed all the way in when they are assembled, they have to be twisted out of the visor so that the visor post lines up with the clip. It may seem like a simple thing but we can't tell you the number of phone calls and emails we've gotten about it!
The outside sun visor Mount can be twisted away from the visor as needed so that the post lines up with the clip during installation. If you pull the arm out all the way no problem just twist it back in. As we install this sun visor in a beetle we can only see the straight portion of the metal mount sticking up into the roof. Since the visor post won't line up with the clip we twist the visor away from the mount until it does, and now we can see much more of the metal Mount of the sun visor. We use the same method installing this Karma geosen visor twisting the visor away from the mount and then twisting it back slightly so that the visor clears the rear view mirror.
