The Michelin XZX Series, 145R15 radial tire is a shorter than stock, replacement tire and the best 145R15 tire on the market. The 145R15 tires are frequently used when installing drop spindles or lowering the front end from about 2 to 3" as they offer more clearance than the stock 165R15 tire.

The Michelin XZX tires are made in Europe and come backed by a 6 year warranty. Yes, a tire warranty for classic tires on classic cars! These tires feature the correct sidewall flex for better handling and performance than the cheap, chinese knock-offs. In addition, the Michelin XZX series, 145R15 tire has the correct tread that slightly rolls over to the shoulder of the sidewall. These are period-correct, performance tires that will deliver the performance and handling you expect while also lasting for years. The taller sidewall and narrow tread still provide a vintage look for your VW restoration and the tire compound offers great wet and dry handling. The Michelin XZX tires are sold individually and fit 15 inch diameter wheel with recommend wheel widths from 4 to 6 inches.
