This German made, cloth braided, metal reinforced vacuum hose connects the intake manifold vacuum port to the brake booster through the check valve and chassis tubes. It has a 12mm inside diameter. 1971 Type 2 Bus models typically need about 6 feet, 1972-1974 Type 2s need roughly 5 feet, and 1975-1977 Type 2s need less than 2 feet. 1978-1979 Type 2s originally use hard plastic tubing, but this hose can be used as a replacement.
