This lower ball joint is made by Italian manufacturer OCAP. It fits all 1962 to 1973 Type 3s (Notchback, Squareback, and Fastback). This ball joint can be used on the left or right side to connect the lower trailing arm on the beam to the spindle. If you can hear a clunking sound in your front end what you make a turn, it may be time to look into getting some new ball joints. A broken ball joint can negatively affect steering and suspension performance and can be a major safety risk aside from causing other issues. The ball joints are pre-greased and come with the boot already installed. The ball joints are sold individually, 2 required per vehicle.
