VW Clutch Release bearing made for all VW models from 1954 through 1970, German made. After years of experience, we can think of no reason
to use any cheap aftermarket made units. When you consider the cost of taking out an engine to replace a cheap Throw-out Bearing,
it just doesn't make sense to use anything other than quality cltuch release bearings. The throw out bearing fits 1954 through 1970 Beetles,
1956 through 1970 Karmann Ghias, 1955 through 1970 Type 2 Bus models and 1962 through 1970 Type 3 Square, Fast & Notchbacks. The throw out
bearing clips are sold separately and can be added to your cart either above or through the related items below.
Clutch components (like most things nowadays) are made around the world, by various manufacturers. A German clutch component comes from a German manufacturing company that may have numerous factories around the globe. Regardless of where the part is made, if it is labeled as a German part, it comes from a German company that has manufactured that component at a facility that is owned by them, and it is made to their high standards of quality and fitment.

It's possible your transmission is not original to your vehicle. Check for the guide sleeve (found on late models), and check what style throw-out bearing clips your bearing uses.
If your throw out bearing has rollers on the side your vehicle is using an early-style throw-out bearing. If the throw out bearing has flat tabs on the sides then your vehicle is using a late-style throw-out bearing.
