VW hood hinge stay bolt is the shouldered hinge bolt for the front hood prop on early model Beetles and is the hood hinge to body bolt on later model Beetles. The shouldered bolt fits the front left hood stay bolt on 1954 through 1961 Beetles. It is also used as the hood hinge bolt, holding the hood hinge to the body for 1962 through 1977 Standard Beetles and 1971 through 1972 Standard Beetles. The shouldered bolt is sold individually.
