Decklid Lock Catch Plate for VW Beetle

Bolts to rear apron to secure decklid latch

The VW Decklid Lock Catch Plate bolts to the rear apron and provides a latching point for the decklid handle. The deck lid latch plate fits Late 1964 (check your decklid handle, a push button latch, as opposed to the T-handle latch, indicates a late 1964) through late 1966 (late 1966 latches are similar but don't sit up as high) Beetles.
