VW Fusebox - 12 Fuse

Our VW 12 Fuse Terminal Fuse Box fits 1971 (from chassis # 1112799843) though 1972 Standard Beetles and Super Beetles. The fuse box installs in the trunk behind the dash. The replacement fuse box uses 12 original VW style ceramic fuses (not included). The fuse box has "doubled" terminals for the high and low beams as well as the running lights. The ignition circuit and battery circuit have "tripled" circuits. A fuse box cover is available separately and can be added to your cart above.

This is a single level fuse box, it does not have the upper level for the relays. If you have a dual level fuse box, you will have to relocate the relays or source an original (used) fuse box.

Please Note: The terminal layouts may differ from your original fuse box! The terminals can be pushed out of the box (a small flat head screwdriver works well) and re-arranged to match your original configuration. Take clear pictures of the wiring and fuse box to ensure the correct installation.
