The Chrome Plated Plastic VW Door Cover Plates bolt to the door release lever and trim out the door panel cut out at the lever. The cover plates are compatible with 1967-1977 Beetles, 1967-1970 Beetle Convertibles, 1971-1977 Super Beetles, 1974-1979 Super Beetle Convertibles, 1964-1970 Karmann Ghias, 1964-1970 Karmann Ghia Convertibles, 1968 & 1974-1979 Type 2 Bus Models and 1962-1973 Type 3 Models. These chrome Door Cover Plates are not compatible with cars that have a door lock tab above door release lever. These Door Cover Plates are sold as a pair. The door cover plates require screws (N014216-2) to hold them to the release lever and the snap in cover plates (311-247-BK) to complete the installation.
