If you're looking to replace or install the front and rear blade bumpers on your 1968 through 1973 Standard Beetle or 1971 through 1973 Super Beetle, want to swap over to or install the VW of Mexico Style Front Turn Signal Bumper, and need all the parts, look no further. Our VW Front Turn Signal Bumper and Rear Triple Chrome Plated Bumper Kit comes with the Front and Rear Bumpers, Bumper Brackets, Turn Signals, Bulbs & Wiring Connectorts as well as all of the hardware needed to bolt the bumpers to the brackets and the brackets to the cars. If you need the bumper bracket seals, select them from the drop down menu above, You can also add impact strips or bumper guards, or both if you are looking for a true factory look for your Beetle.

Note - If you are relocating your factory turn signals from the bumpers to the fenders, lengthening your factory wiring will most likely be necessary.

Also note that the Mexico style turn signal assemblies are designed for a dual filament bulb with parallel alignment posts. US spec (1157 style bulbs) have offset posts to align the bulb with the correct wire (turn signal to bright filament, running light to low filament). We have used the US spec bulbs in the assemblies for years, using only the lower bulb post to hold the bulb in place. Make sure that you check that the bulb is correctly aligned when first installing it.

Our Expert's Take:

We have seen high dollar chrome plated parts from local shops rust within a month. Make sure to keep the chrome waxed and clean, and it should last you for years, they have on our cars. When installing the bumpers, install all the parts loosely, then tighten the hardware. Depending on past damage to your car, bending, trimming and even drilling new holes in the bumper brackets might be required to install the bumpers.
