VW Rear Engine to Body Seal

This rear engine to body seal is used in conjunction with the firewall seal to prevent hot air from entering the engine compartment, making it a crucial part for keeping the air-cooled engine cool. The seal fits in the groove around the rear and sides of the engine. Installation requires removing the engine or most of the engine tin. The seal is intentionally made longer than needed and will have to be trimmed down at either end where it meets the firewall seal. Original part # 133813705.
