VW Windshield Wiper Switch - Two Speed

The 2 Speed VW Windshield Wiper Switch will fit 1962 through 1967 Beetles, 1962 through 1967 Karmann Ghias, 1968 through 1972 Type 2 Bus models and 1962 through 1967 Type 3s although it is only original to 1967 and later models. The wiper switch has 3 positions; off-on-on, and can be used with single speed or two speed wiper motors (see Tech Tips for wiring information). The wiper switch is held in place to the dash with a 10mm dash escutcheon (111941515) and has a 5mm threaded post for the dash knob. The wiper switch also has the pneumatic diaphragm for the windshield washer nozzle which is operated through the center of the threaded post by the wiper knob. 131-541-IV is the knob for pre 1966 models but any 5mm threaded knob can be used.

The 1962-67 two-speed wiper switch looks very similar to the 1968-71 two-speed wiper switch.
The difference is the mounting escutcheon. 1962-67 uses a 10mm escutcheon. 1968-71 uses a 14mm escutcheon.

Our 2 Speed Wiper Switch will fit 1966 and earlier models but does look different than the original, single speed switch.
