EMPI has contracted with Wilwood Brakes to develop this stock replacement brake caliper set. The billet aluminum calipers will bolt on and replace 311615107
(stock 2 pin) Karmann Ghia brake caliper. The Wilwood caliper set includes Wilwood specific brake pads (sorry, they won't work with the stock calipers) to
complete the brake system upgrade. The 2 stainless steel piston equipped calipers have stock VW 10x1.00mm threaded inlets, so they are a true direct replacement.
Four 10x25mm bolts and 4 washers are included with the brake calipers to help finish the installation. The calipers are available in a raw finish, or in a Black
or Red painted finish for a custom look, just make the selection above.
The caliper to spindle mounting bolts are 2 3/16" center to center for those looking to use the Wilwood calipers for other applications.
The calipers can be installed in place of the standard (2 pin Karmann Ghia) brake calipers in these disc brake conversion kits:
22-2850, 22-2855, 22-2860, 22-2861, 22-2861-F, 22-2862, 22-2862-F, 22-2881, 22-2882, 22-2886, 22-2887, 22-2909, 22-2910, 22-2910-F, 22-2911, 22-2911-F, 22-2915, 22-2916, 22-2916-F, 22-2917, 22-2917-F, 22-2921, 22-2922, 22-2923, 22-2924, 22-2929, 22-2929-F, 22-2930, 22-2930-F, 22-2931, 22-2932, 22-2981, 22-2982, and 22-2983.
