Engle Performance VW Camshafts are made from Iron Billets and CNC machined to ensure correct tolerances. The W130 Cam has .460" of lift and 308 degrees of duration at 1.1:1. The cam lift is .419" and at .050" the camshaft has 267 degrees of duration. The lobe centers are at 108 degrees and the cam is suitable for use with 1.1:1 (stock VW) or 1.25:1 lifters in drag racing and competition off road cars. The Engle cam fits 1200cc (40 horse) through 1600cc based, VW Type 1, 2 and 3 engines. The camshaft is a flat cam design and must be used with a flat cam style oil pump and a separately sold bolt on cam gear. New lifters should be installed whenever installing a new camshaft. A tube of assembly lube is included with the cam.

Please Note: EMPI (along with many other engine builders, racers and auto enthusiasts) recommends using an engine oil with ZDDP or ZDTP or a ZDDP/ZDTP additive in your oil for all flat tappet camshaft engines.
