The VW Vanagon Intermediate Steering Shaft attaches between the steering column gear box at the front and the steering rack at chassis, between the control arms. The shaft fits 1980 through 1991 VW Vanagons (not Syncros) with Power Steering. The shaft has the 2 bolt flange at one end to bolt up to the rubber steering coupler disc at the front (column gear box) and is splined at the rear where it attaches to the u-joint at the steering rack.
