VW Tow Bar - 2" Ball Receiver

EMPI's Light Duty, Universal Tow Bar has a 2 Inch Ball Receiver. The tow bar mounting points are at 22 3/4" (center to center) and fits EMPI universal & Super Beetle mounting plates. The tow bar does not include pins or a mounting plate.

Please Note the Following:

This cannot be used with an auto-stick or Standard Beetle.
Never back up when using a tow bar. It's not safe and can damage both vehicles or destroy the tow bar.
Safety Chains are required by most states when towing, the tow bar does not come with provisions for, nor does it come with, tow chains.

The tow bar is a tool, not a show piece. They arrive to us from the manufacturer bundled together and have scratches and imperfections in the paint. The paint and tow bar are not meant for show. The tow bar will be set on the ground and shoved under the car when installing it where it will get scratched and when towing it is very susceptible to getting scratched and ground down from the road. Please do not expect to get a tow bar with a show quality paint job. The tow bar will arrived with missing paint and scratches.
