VW Cable Shortening Kit - Parking Brake

This EMPI parking brake cable shortening kit comes with all the necessary hardware to shorten 2 brake cables. To install the kit, the threaded ends (at the brake handle) are cut off. The new threaded ends are slid over the cut cable end and set screws hold the cables in place. New lock nuts are included to attach the cables to the handle. Shortening the parking brake cables is required when shortening VW chassis for use with a short wheel base fiberglass buggy.
