ADD SOME SOUND TO YOUR RIDE!
Our Front Speaker Kick Panels are made of heavy-duty fiberglass
to resist vibration noise associated with cheap plastic panels.
The thick fiberglass aids in securely mounting the speakers to the
kick panel as well as fastening them to the front side kick panel area
of the car.
The Speaker Kick Panels create a cavity between the front side interior
areas of the car and the Speaker Kick Panels to allow the mounting of the
speakers without having to cut into the metal area of the car.
The Speaker Kick Panels can accept a variety of different round speakers up to 6.5" wide (with shallow magnets). The panels direct the music slightly
upward and inward in the car to provide optimum sound quality. The panels are
finished in black so that they can be placed either under or on top of an existing
carpet kit.
The Speaker Kick Panels will NOT impede any foot movement inside. We do
NOT recommend putting any speakers in door panels. In addition to getting
the speakers wet, the door panels and clips do not have sufficient strength
to hold today's heavy magnet speakers.
SPEAKER PANELS
Fits up to 7" diameter speakers (or 5 ½" with 1" tweeters, etc.) Depending on which car you have, there will be 3" to 4" of space behind the Speaker Panel, 2" to 3" on convertibles.
Really Easy Instructions
You'll need:
- 40 grit sandpaper
- Jigsaw with a fine blade
- Electric drill with 1/8" bit
- Phillips screwdriver (or drill with phillips screwdriver bit)
- Template for your speaker (usually comes with your system)
- Pieces of cardboard to practice on
- 8 Sheet metal screws.
1) Decide whether you will mount Speaker Panels over or under existing or new carpet, then;
2) Pre-fit the Speaker Panel up against your kick panel area above the heater channel. Some trimming may be required simply by using sandpaper. We recommend putting insulation, carpet or some type of pad behind the speaker, up against the metal kick panel area of your car. This makes your system "sound" better.
3) Once you are satisfied with the fitting of the speaker panel and its ready to install, you can now insert your speakers:
First, cut out the hole using the template, or practice on cardboard. If you drill the hole too big, then you'll have to buy another set and start over again. It is best to cut out the hole with the jigsaw, smaller than the template shows, them use sandpaper to make your speaker fit perfectly.
Mount your speakers, tweeter, etc. into the Speaker Panel.
4) Now, drill 4 holes, one at each comer using a drill with 1/8" bit. Hold the panel exactly where you previously pre-fit, and drill thru the panel and the metal kick panel of your car. Then screw the 4 screws into both, with a screwdriver (or drill with phillips screwdriver bit). Note: Bonding or attaching the speaker panel to your kick panel area without screws, will not allow access to your speaker, if you ever need to get to it. Carpet over if you choose.

Orders over $100 will receive free shipping within the continental United States. Freight on under $100 will be $9.95. Large packages ship FedEx. Smaller packages ship US Priority Mail. Delivery time averages 1-5 business days after it ships.
For expedited shipping, you must call us. All express orders are personally handled by the representative you speak with in order to streamline the process. Please do not request express shipping via email. Emails are reviewed in the order they are received which could possibly delay your shipping.
Shipping on any returns is the customer's responsibility. If your order qualified for free shipping and a returned item reduces your order below the $100, you will be charged the according shipping cost for the order.
Returns
90 Day Return PolicyYou can return most unused, never installed, like-new items for 90 days from the date of receipt. Items must be in like-new condition. The following items are final sale:
- Special order items
- Special order upholstery
- Electrical items
- Installed carburetors
- Installed items
- Items missing parts or the original packaging material
- Items damaged in return shipping due to improper packaging
- Carburetors that smell like fuel
- Damage due to customer negligence
- Items with scour marks that show installation or attempted installation from nuts, bolts, screw-driver’s, washers, etc.
Returns must be sent in a proper shipping box.
With the exception of parts that are shipped to you in the original manufacturer packaging (example - TMI door panels, floor pans, complete front beams, etc), please be sure to return the parts with an external box or protective packaging around the parts you are returning. Most manufacturer packaging boxes are not rated for shipping and can become damaged or destroyed as they are too thin to withstand forces applied during the shipping process. Failure to do so will result in a higher restocking/reboxing fee or outright refusal of the return if the part cannot be restocked in the same condition it arrived at you. How to Start a Return:
- Call JBugs at 800-231-1784
- Request an Return Authorization. Do not ship your return back to us until you have an RMA.
- Place a copy of your invoice or order confirmation inside the package.
- Carefully package your items
- Ship the items back to the JBugs return address listed on the RMA. Keep your tracking information for proof of delivery.
- Once you receive a Return Authorization, all returns must be shipped back to our AZ address.
- Returns shipped to our administration office may be subject to a higher restocking fee.
- Returns, refunds, and store credits are usually processed within 5 days upon receiving the items back.
- We are not responsible for tracking returns shipped without an RMA.
- Refunds, exchanges, or store credits will be given for items returned within 90 days of receipt.
- Refunds are issued to your original payment method.
- The customer is responsible for the return shipping charges except in cases where JBugs shipped the incorrect item.
- Shipping charges are not refundable.
- JBugs is not responsible for any 3rd party installation charges.
- Returns will be subject to a 20% restocking fee except in a situation where JBugs shipped the incorrect item.
- If you feel that you have received a defective item, please contact our technical support team at 800-231-1784 ext. 3. If the item is deemed defective by our staff, we will replace or refund the product and any shipping charges.
