EMPI VW Buggy Dual Exhaust - Chrome Tips

Dual exhaust system with chrome tips
Compatible with EMPI dual carburetor setups
Includes heater risers for single carb use
Uses 1 3/8" ID tubing
Glass pack mufflers

EMPI's Buggy Dual Exhaust with chrome tips and is compatible with any of EMPI's dual carburetors mounted on 1200cc to 1600cc based engines. The exhaust uses 1 3/8" ID (stock size) tubing and 1 1/2" diameter gaskets. The mufflers are glass packs with a built-in fiberglass insert to help tame the sound. If you would like a similar exhaust with a bit more flow, the 3376 is the same system made with 1 1/2" ID tubing. The exhaust has heater risers (for use with single carb intake manifolds) which can be blocked off if not needed.

Black Paint is Only a Rust Inhibitor

If the black paint is not removed before installation, it will burn off in a few hours. Regardless of where you purchase your exhaust, we recommend stripping the exhaust with a good solvent or sanding the paint off, then painting the exhaust system with a high quality, high temperature exhaust paint. None of our exhausts are warrantied against rust. If you want an exhaust with a durable finish, consider a ceramic coated, chrome plated, or stainless steel exhaust.
