Product Description

This Standard Carpet Kit is compatible with the 1958-1968 Volkswagen Standard Beetle Sedan. This carpet kit is Black Loop Carpet and is for use without a footrest. It is made of high quality, automotive grade components and designed to withstand years of use and continue to look great. Our front carpet kits cover the passenger area from the base of the rear seat to and including the front. All front carpet kits also have a heavy-duty vinyl heel pad under the pedals. All the exposed edges of the carpet kits are yarn bound.

Please Note: This carpet kit is compatible with the Standard Beetle Sedan without passenger factory footrest only.

This front carpet kit includes matching yarn binding, heater grommets and driver's side heal padding. Front carpet kits cover the interior compartment up to the rear seat. Our carpet kits feature rubber backing and are bound with yarn.

Our standard black loop and standard charcoal loop carpets are kept in stock.

Our shipping policy is as follows:
We ONLY ship within the United States and its territories.

Orders over $100 will receive free shipping within the continental United States. Freight on orders between $50 and $100 will be $9.95, and freight on orders between $0 and $49.99 will be $7.50. Large packages ship FedEx. Smaller packages ship US Priority Mail. Delivery time averages 1-5 business days depending on your distance from Southern California.

**Oversized products will be excluded from this policy. Shipping rates on oversized items will be calculated separately. The cost of oversized items will be applied to the total order and shipping on your other items will be calculated accordingly. Oversized items will be clearly labeled on the website and will include a drop down menu to estimate your cost of shipping.

Most orders to Hawaii, Alaska, APO/FPO, Puerto Rico and other US territories are shipped by the US Postal Service. The shipping costs for these orders are billed at the time of shipping.

For expedited shipping, you must call us. All express orders are personally handled by the representative you speak with in order to streamline the process. Please do not request express shipping via email. Emails are reviewed in the order they are received which could possibly delay your shipping.

Shipping on any returns is the customer's responsibility. If your order qualified for free shipping and a returned item reduces your order below the $100, you will be charged the according shipping cost for the order.

Returns

90 Day Return Policy

You can return most unused, never installed, like-new item for 90 days from the date of purchase. Items must be in like-new condition. The following items are final sale:

Special order items
Special order upholstery
Electrical items
Installed carburetors

Like-new Condition: JBugs may refuse a return when the returned item is not in like-new condition. These situations will lead to refused returns:

Installed items
Items missing parts or the original packaging material
Items damaged in return shipping due to improper packaging
Carburetors that smell like fuel
Damage due to customer negligence
Items with scour marks that show installation or attempted installation from nuts, bolts, screw-driver’s, washers, etc.

How to Start a Return:

Call JBugs at 800-231-1784
Request an Return Authorization.
Place a copy of your invoice or order confirmation inside the package.
Carefully package your items
Ship the items back to JBugs
Returns, refunds, and store credits are usually processed within 5 days upon receiving the items back.

Refunds, Exchanges, and Store Credit:

Refunds will be given for items returned within 90 days of purchase.

Return Shipping:

The customer is responsible for the return shipping charges except in cases where JBugs shipped the incorrect item.

Freight Charges:

Shipping charges are not refundable.

3rd Party Charges:

JBugs is not responsible for any 3rd party installation charges.

Re-Stocking Fee:

JBugs charges a 10% re-stocking fee on all returned items except in situation where JBugs shipped the incorrect item.

Received a Defective Item?

If you feel that you have received a defective item, please contact our technical support team at 800-231-1784 ext. 3. If the item is deemed defective by our staff, we will replace or refund the product and any shipping charges.

If a product does not fit because your vehicle has been modified or customized in the last 40+ years, it does not definitively mean the item is defective. If you have an issue due to fitment, we will help you find the right parts. We are here to help.

About Carpet Footrest Option.

+ Standard vs. Premium Carpets:

Both Carpets are made with the same carpet material. The difference is in the vinyl grommets. Standard Carpets do NOT have cut outs or vinyl grommets. Standard carpets require YOU to cut outlets after the carpet has been aligned. Premium carpets are easier to install due to pre-aligned cut-outs and reinforcement vinyl grommets.

The Quality Standard carpet kit includes heater grommets(1968 and prior models only) and Vinyl footpad.
The Super Premium Carpet kit includes heater grommets(1968 and prior models only), footpad, and vinyl edged inserts for the gear shift, emergency brake boot and heater control knob. 1969 and later Carpets do not use heater grommets. Super Premium carpets gives you the most precise fit.

+ Footrest vs. NO Footrest:

It is important to note if your car has a factory installed footrest underneath the front passenger carpet. The footrest is a removable metal slope that originally hinged at the very front towards the firewall. After 30-50 years cars that originally came with a footrest may have had it removed to provide extra leg-space for the passenger.
