VW Ball Foot Valve Adjustment Screws - Set of 8

8x1.0mm thread size, hardened for durability
Swivel design allows for better valve stem contact
Reduces valve train wear

Ball feet VW valve adjustment screws are used to set the valve lash by loosening or tightening it against the valve stem and then locked in place with a stock nut. The valve adjustment screws have a 8x1.0mm thread and a ball socket head where they contact the valve stem. A swiveling ball with a flat surface sits inside the socket and that flat surface makes better contact against the valve stem. The foot of the ball swivels as the rocker arm moves up and down against the valve allowing for a more precise and consistent valve adjustment. This can help prevent valve stem mushrooming on the valve stem and can actually help with better valve seating and reduce wear on the valve guides. The 8 ball foot adjusters include rocker stand shims which are needed with the additional length of the valve adjusters.
