VW Carburetor Main Jet - Select Size - DG/FV/ICT/EPC

These main jets are available in sizes from 1.10 to 2.10 and control fueling from roughly 2,500 to 4,000 RPM. If your engine is otherwise well tuned (correct timing, valves adjusted) and misfires above 2,500 RPM, the main jet may be too small, meaning the engine is running lean and needs a larger jet. If the engine bogs down at higher RPM, the main jet may be too large and the engine is running rich. Running too lean can overheat the engine and damage pistons or valves. Running too rich wastes fuel and can wash away the oil lubricating the piston and cylinder. Sold individually. They fit Weber 32/36 DGV, 32/36 DFV, 34ICT, and EMPI EPC 34, 32/36, 32/36F, 38E, and 38DGS carburetors.
