This EMPI 38EGAS carb kit comes complete with an air cleaner and manifold for Type 2 and Type 4 Bus models. The synchronous 2-barrel carb improves performance over a stock carburetor and is well suited for street and off-road use. Baseline jetted for 1800cc. Every kit is test-run and adjusted before shipping.

Warning: Fuel pressure must be set at 1.5 to 2 PSI maximum. The 38EGAS carburetor is very susceptible to flooding, hesitation, and stumbling off idle if fuel pressure is too high. Always verify fuel pressure with a gauge before tuning.
