Kicker Smart Amplifer & EQ - 500 Watt Mono Amplifier

The Kicker Key 500-1 Smart Subwoofer Amplifier is a 1 Ω stable amplifer and an audio processor in one compact unit. The mono amplifer puts out 150 watts at 4Ω, 300 watts a 2Ω and 500 watts at 1Ω. The 7 3/8 x 2 3/4 x 1 11/16" amplifier features FIT2™ (Fail Safe Integration Technology) which allows it to be used in most any car on the road.

Our Expert's Take:

We had the choice of any of Kicker's amplifiers to install in our 1971 Super Beetle build, and we installed this amplifier along with a Key 200.4 amp under the rear seat and don't regret it one bit. The compact amp can be mounted close to the battery, out of the way, out of sight, and out of mind. After we tuned the amplifiers using the Kicker Test Tones, the amp was fully tuned and the stereo system sounds phenomenal!
