Window Crank and Door Handle Retaining Pin

Sick and tired of your window crank or door handle falling off every time you close the door to your car? Don't let one small piece of steel keep you from enjoying your ride. Just replace the pin! This small pin holds the door handle to the splined shaft on the mechanism. Without it, the window crank and inside door handle can easily fall off.

Installation is very simple. All you need to do is clock the window crank (or door handle) to the desired position, slide the handle onto the splined shaft until the groove behind the splines is lined up with the hole in the handle, and use a punch or drift with a hammer to tap the pin into place.

Don't forget that the door handle and window crank are the last thing to go on! You must install the window crank spring (P/N 111837229) and buffer prior to fitting the door handle to the shaft.
