Protect your wheels with locking lugs bolts, the chrome 60 degree acorn seat specially keyed "locking" lug bolts have 12x1.5x23mm threads. Locking lug nuts have non symmetrical raised ridges that a standard socket will not fit on or engage making removing the lug nut more difficult. The lug bolts are sold as set of 4, they can be used on 1954-1967 Beetles, 1956-1966 Karmann Ghias, 1962-1965 Type 3s and 1973-1974 Things that have 60° seat wheels.

Trimming may be required:
These are extra long lug bolts. Trimming may be required to ensure the lug bolt does not interfere with components inside the brake drum. We recommend bolting the wheel and adapter to the drum with the drum off of the car. Flip it upside down and used a grinder or cut off wheel to trim the length of the bolts that are sticking through.
