EMPI Thread Sealing Tape

This PTFE-based (polytetrafluoroethylene) thread sealing tape from EMPI helps create a better seal on threaded fittings and is a great option if you have leaky fuel or oil systems. PTFE-based tapes work on both fuel and oil line threads, but they will be dissolved by brake fluid because brake fluid is so corrosive. Fits all Volkswagen fuel and oil lines through 1979 and later.
