AS41 Magnesium Engine Case for Type 1, 2, and 3

  • Universal fit for Type 1, 2, and 3 applications
  • Bored for 90.5mm or 92mm pistons and cylinders
  • Includes medium-style oil pickup tube

The stock style replacement AS41 Magnesium Engine Case fits Type 1, 2 and 3 applications as it a universal style case. The universal case has mounting points for a rear cross bar and it has a Type 3 dipstick hole which will need to be blocked off for applications not using it. The AS41 magnesium case is bored out for 90.5 or 92mm pistons & cylinders and includes a medium style oil pick up tube. The engine is suitable for 1776 or 1835cc builds but can be user clearanced for stroker cranks and built as a 1903, 1955, 2007, 2110, 1967, 2021 or 2084cc. The lighter magnesium case weighs in at about 25 pounds where similar aluminum cases weigh over 40. A stock metal cam plug can be used as can aluminum o-ring versions and the engine case has 8mm case savers for the head studs.
