The Pertronix Billet Flame Thrower Distributor with Ignitor 3 Electronic Ignition Module can be used on all VW Type 1,2 & 3 Carbureted Engines. The Flame Thrower Performance Distributor has all of the great aspects of the popular Bosch 009 & 050 distributors and a show quality billet aluminum body. The Ignitor 3 Ignition module inside the flame thrower distributor ensures fast starts, better performance nd economy along with a built in REV limiter and multiple spark output.

Please Note

• The PerTronix Ignitor 3 must be used with a low-resistance 0.32 Ohm, 45,000-volt coil. Choose from the PerTronix 45K Volt Black Coil or the PerTronix 45K Volt Chrome Coil, both designed for use with Ignitor 3.
• Suppression or spiral-wound spark plug wires must be used with the Ignitor 3; solid core plug wires will cause electronic interference.
• This distributor is not compatible with fuel-injected engines.
• Male cap terminal suppression or spiral-wound spark plug wires must be used with the PerTronix Billet Ignitor 3 distributor.
