This seat pad kit is crafted for the 1961-1967 Karmann Ghia Coupe, featuring pre-formed, high-density foam for both the front and rear seats. The injection-molded pads provide a custom fit for top and bottom seat sections, ensuring a durable and comfortable seating solution for your classic VW.

We highly recommend purchasing burlap or sisel pads when installing new seat foam. A layer of burlap or sisel will keep the springs from eating into the foam over time. 6 yards of burlap or 3 sheets of sisel are recommended to cover both front and rear springs.

We recommend using burlap or any other durable protective barrier when replacing seat foam pads. The metal springs and wires in the seat frame can begin to cut into the foam if you skip installing a protective barrier fabric.
