This Wiring Works complete wiring harness fits 1956-1957 VW Beetle Sedans. The Wiring Works complete wiring loom will wire your entire car from headlights to tail lights. This kit is great for repairing old dried out wiring, or replacing the wires after a new paint job. All kits are made from original wiring loom schematics and are factory color coded. All kits are factory length and stripped and soldered (for original screw terminal components or pre-terminated with OEM AMP terminal ends where applicable per factory specs. Each kit includes detailed instructions which will simplify the task of rewiring your 1956 or 1957 VW Beetle. This kit is compatible with 6 and 12 volt systems. The harness does not include switches, any wiring that is part of a switch, a fusebox, battery cables, ground straps or relays.

Wiring Harnesses can only be returned if the packaging remains sealed. Once a wiring harness has been opened, it cannot be returned.

Please Note: The wires that are attached to the turn signal switch, the battery ground cable, the battery positive cable and the transmission ground strap are not included.

The wiring installation shown is on a 1966 VW Beetle. In 1964 and earlier Beetles, the main harness runs through the roof, from the front to the back of the car, instead of along the heater channel like later models do. More wires and components are added and changed from early models to later models but the overall installation is very similar throughout the years.
