I have wanted a Karmann Ghia since I was 20. I am now 70. A few years ago, I decided to go ahead and 'go for it' and started searching for one. The search started in New Mexico where my husband and I live. It soon expanded nationwide, primarily using eBay. I finally found a 1971 coupe on the east coast that grabbed my heart!

Upon delivery to our home in southern New Mexico, it was drivable and in overall fair shape. Soon we started working on the interior, exterior, and engine to bring it back to prime condition. It now runs like a dream—my dream of 50 years ago!
