My wife’s first car in high school was a yellow '74 Super Beetle.

For our 30th anniversary I did some homework and research and I found her first car and bought it. When we brought it home she was so surprised and simply couldn’t believe it.

She realized that it needed some work and I promised her we’d get help and get it running properly so my son Kevin and I enrolled in some classes at our local community college. She simply thought we were “working on it” a couple nights a week at the college but she had no idea we were completely restoring it.

I purchased everything we needed through JBugs and we secretly made her first car look brand new again. The project took us 9 months and she was completely shocked when she arrived at home one evening, opened the garage door and saw her beautiful Bug staring back at her.
