My 17 year old son and I have been restoring a 1972 VW Kombi Bus for more than a year. We have finally gotten it all together with the help of many parts from JBugs and lots of time and sweat. My son has learned to drive a stick now (which is a rarity in his age group) and is looking forward to showing it at some of the upcoming car shows and cruising it to school. It has been a great Father/Son project and I’m almost sad to see it near completion given the amount of time we have got to spend together figuring things out.
